The Watton Church Diamond Jubilee Street Party

Things that happened on the day

We began by opening the day and worshipping God to thank him for the weather which while not perfect was without rain.

Mini-Olympics for mini people

The Air Cadets help with the mini-olympics and all the children had a great time competing in sack races and egg & spoon races.

The Open Mike

During the day people had the opportunity to come on to the stage and tell a joke or sing a song or to dance. Some of the entants were very cute.

The Balloon Race

Then the ballon race was started to find which balloon would go the farthest

This brought the day to a fitting end as the red, white and blue balloons rose into the sky with the church as a backdrop.
